Air Force Academy (AFA)

 20 to 24 years as on 1st July, 2027 i.e. born not earlier than 1st July, 2003 and not later than 1st July, 2007. 

Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried. Married candidates aged 25 years or above are eligible to apply, but marriage is not permitted during training.

Air Force Academy (AFA) (with Commercial Pilot Licence)

Upper age limit is relaxable up to 26 years (i.e., born not earlier than born not earlier than 1st July, 2001 and not later than 1st July, 2007 only are eligible.

Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried. Married candidates aged 25 years or above are eligible to apply, but marriage is not permitted during training.

Officers' Training Academy (OTA) - SSC Men

19 to 25 years. Unmarried male candidate born not earlier than 1st July 2002 and not later than 1st July, 2008 only are eligible

Unmarried male candidates only are eligible.

Officers' Training Academy (OTA) - SSC Women

19 to 25 years, born not earlier than 1st July, 2002 and not later than 1st July, 2008.

Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried, and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible.


EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

(i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Degree of a recognised University or equivalent. 

(ii) For Indian Naval Academy— Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution 

(iii) For Air Force Academy—Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Candidates who are studying in the final year/semester Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply provided candidate should not have any present backlog upto the last semester / year for which results have been declared upto the time of submission of application and they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination at the time of commencement of course

Candidates are advised to go through the General instruction, Profile/Module-wise instructions and instructions for upload of documents before proceeding to fill up the form. These instructions are available on the menu bar of the Home page. candidate who is willing to apply for Combined Defence Services Examination shall be required to apply on-line and submit the requisite information and supporting documents towards various claims, such as date of birth, educational qualification, etc. Failure to provide the required information/documents alongwith the Online Application Form will entail cancellation of candidature for the examination.

APPLICATION FEE

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank.
