Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

AGE LIMIT
A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st
August, 2026, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 2001 and not later than 1st August,
2006.
The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxable:
(a) up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe;
(b) up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates;
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State
Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a
University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification

PHYSICAL STANDARDS
The minimum requirements for the candidate are as follows:
Male
Height 165 cm
Chest 81 cm (with 5 cm minimum expansion)
Weight 50 kg.
Female
Height 157 cm
Chest (Not applicable)
Weight 46 kg.
PHYSICAL TEST
Male
(a) 100 Meters race In 16 seconds.
(b) 800 Meters race In 3 minutes 45 seconds
(c) Long Jump 3.5 Meters (3 chances)
(d) Shot Put (7.26 Kgs.) Throw 4.5 Meters
Female
(a) 100 Meters race In 18 seconds
(b) 800 Meters race In 4 minutes 45 seconds
(c) Long Jump 3.0 meters (3 chances)
Pregnancy at the time of PET will be a disqualification and pregnant female candidate will be rejected.
HOW TO APPLY
Apply Mode : Online
Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https://www.upsconline. nic.in. It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR has to be registered only once in life time. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination

APPLICATION FEE
Candidates (except Female/SC/ST Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay fee of
Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by using Net Banking Facility of any Bank or by using
Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment for appearing in CAPF (ACs) Exam, 2026.
