AGE LIMIT

For the post of  Border Roads Organization, Brahmaputra Board, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Central Water Commission, Central Water and Power Research Station , DGQA-NAVAL, Ministry of Defence, Farakka Barrage years Project, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Military Engineer Services (MES), National Technical Research Organization (NTRO) 

Up to 30 years Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1994 and not later than 01-08-2006.

 For the post of Central Public Works Department (CPWD)

Up to 32 years Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1992 and not later than 01-08-2006. 


Age relaxation permissible beyond the upper age limit SC / ST Candidates have 05 Years & OBC Candidates have 03 Years

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Border Roads Organization

Degree in Civil Engineering/ Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute; 

OR

(a) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering/Electrical/Automobile/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute/Board;

(b) Two years working experience in Planning/Execution/Maintenance of Civil Engineering/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works.

Note : The Physical Efficiency Test, Physical and Medical Standard in Border Roads Organization

Brahmaputra Board, Ministry of Jal Shakti

Three-Year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Central Water Commission

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil  Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Central Public Works Department (CPWD)

Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. 

Central Water and Power Research Station 

Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. 

DGQA-NAVAL, Ministry of Defence

Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institute; or 

(a) Three-Year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution plus 

(b) Two-Year experience in the respective field

Farakka Barrage years Project, Ministry of Jal Shakti

Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute or Board.

Military Engineer Services (MES)

Degree in Civil/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University; or 

(a) Three years Diploma in Civil/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board; and 

(b) Two years’ experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of Civil Engineering works/Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Works.

National Technical Research Organization (NTRO)

Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. 

PHYSICAL TEST (ONLY FOR BRO)

One Mile run (1600mtr) should be complete in 10 minutes

HOW TO APPLY

Applications must be submitted only in online mode on the officialwebsite of the SSC (Headquarters) i.e., https://ssc.gov.in.

Last date and time for submission of online applications is 18-04-2024 (2300 hours).

APPLICATION FEE

INR 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.
