IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. The admit card to appear for the Physical Standard Test/Physical Efficiency Test is PROVISIONAL.
2. According to the important instructions issued for the candidates, published in the examination release, it is mandatory for the eligible candidates to
bring the documents related to exemption for relaxation in height and chest during Physical Test/Examination. Also make sure to bring a selfattested/signed photocopy set of required documents. If at any stage it is found that you do not fulfil any of the eligibility conditions, your candidature is
liable to be cancelled and no appeal against such cancellation will be entertained. Hence you are advised to ensure properly that you fulfil all the
eligibility conditions given in the recruitment advertisement.
3.It is compulsory to bring admit card for the Physical Standard Test/Physical Efficiency Test. Candidate will be permitted to appear at PST/PET centre as
shown in their admit card and not any other centre. No change will be entertained what so ever.
4. Candidates should bring any one of the original evidence duly affixed his/her photograph for identity such as driving licence, Voter ID, Adhar Card, PAN
card, I/card issued by School & College with them otherwise he will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
5. Candidate reporting for the PST/PET are advised to ensure that they are fully eligible and fulfil all prescribed PST/PET standards, as already published
in the web site of SSC, http://ssc.nic.in
6.Candidates are advised not to carry valuable items with them like mobile phone/cellular/ I-pad & laptop etc. Examination Centre will not be responsible
for any loss. Since no facility will be available for safe keeping of personal belongings.
7. Left thumb impression of the candidates will be taken during PST/PET. Therefore candidates should ensure to keep their left thumb in proper (neat &
clean) state.
8. No journey fare is admissible for appearing in the PST/PET. Arrangement for boarding/lodging will be borne by the candidates themselves.
9.Candidates are advised to bring their own sports kit for appearing in the PST/PET.
10. The candidates appearing in PST/PET must bring four latest passport size photograph with them required to be affixed with details while filling
particulars at the examination centre.
11.A women candidate, who as a result of tests if found to be pregnant, shall be declared temporarily unfit and her appointment held in abeyance until the
confinement is over. She should be re-examined for Physical Efficiency Test(PET) six weeks after the date of confinement subject to the production of
the Medical certificate of fitness from a registered medical practitioner.
12.The Ex- serviceman who will be shortlisted in Computer Based Examination will have to appear in PET/PST stage for recording measurement of
height, chest and weight only. PET will not be held for these Ex- serviceman candidates. Further they will have to qualify medical examination (DME).
13.This is the candidates copy to be kept with candidate till the declaration of final result. It should be shown in the examination centre while entering for
the examination centre and produced on asking by the board or any other officer conducting examination.
14. Candidate will be fully responsible for any incident/ injury occurring during PST/PET at PST/PET centre. Candidate should ensure his physical fitness
before undergoing 5km/1.6 km race. Department,Government & Examination Center will not be responsible for the same.
15. Candidates are advised not to use performance enhancing drugs for PET. Any candidate found under influence of any energetic medicine during PET
will be debarred for further process of recruitment
