SALARY

Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: The post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.

Sub-Inspector (Executive) - (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: The post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.

Sub-Inspector (FIRE)- (Male) in CISF: The post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs. 35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.

AGE LIMIT

Age limit for all posts except SI(FIRE) in CISF is 20-25 years; i.e. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.2001 and not later than 01.08.2006 to be eligible to apply.

Age limit for SI(FIRE) in CISF is 18-30 years; i.e. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2008 to be eligible to apply. 

The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxable: 

(a) up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe; 

 (b) up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates;  

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Educational Qualification for Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and Sub Inspector (GD) in CAPFs is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply; however they must possess Essential Qualification on or before the cut-off date; i.e., closing date of receipt of applications.

Educational Qualification for Sub Inspector (Fire) is Bachelor’s degree in science with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of a recognized University or equivalent; OR Matriculation or equivalent and three years diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automoblies, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical, Telecommunication Engineering OR equivalent examination passed from a recognized University or Board or Institutions. The higher qualification i.e. B. Tech/M Tech in relevant fields can be allowed as the same will be value addition for the post subject to basic qualification (Diploma) being there.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

Male

Height : 170cm

Chest Unexpanded : 80 cm

Chest Expanded : 85 cm

 Weight: Corresponding to height 

All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Height : 162.5 & Chest Normal 77 and Expansion 82

Female

Height : 157

There shall be no minimum requirement of chest measurement for female candidates.

PHYSICAL TEST

For male candidates

  1. 100 metre race in 16 seconds
  2. 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes 
  3. Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chances
  4. High Jump : 1.2 metre in 3 chances
  5. Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chances

For female candidates

  1. 100 metre race in 18 seconds
  2. 800 metre race in 4 minutes
  3.  Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances
  4. High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chances.
