20-31. Only candidates born between 02.01.1994 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities
The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxable:
(a) up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe;
(b) up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates;
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Must be a Graduate.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS
For Armed Police Sub Inspector (Trainee)
(i) Height – 167 cm (Taller persons will be given preference)
(ii) Chest Measurement – 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm
Note: (A) The minimum Height and Chest Measurements shall be 160 cm and 76 cm respectively for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe candidates. The minimum chest expansion of 5cm shall however be applicable for them also.
For Sub Inspector of Police (Trainee)
Male Candidates
Height : 165.10 cm
For SC/ST Candidates : 160.02 cm
Chest Measurement : 81.28 cm
Chest Expansion : 5.08 cm
Note: No relaxation will be allowed to SC/ST candidates in the matter of chest measurement and chest expansion
Female Candidates
Candidates Height : 160 cm
For SC/ST Candidates : 155 cm
Note: Taller persons may be given preference.

Address : Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. Candidates who are creating new profile should upload photograph which is taken within six months. Name of the candidate and date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions re - garding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars cannot be deleted or altered after submission.
