VACANCY

Note: The above Vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year. Advice for appointment will be made from the Ranked list published in pursuance of this notification for the above vacancies and also for more vacancies for the post reported further for Special Recruitment for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe during the pendency of the Rank list. Vacancies of the above post reported exclusively for Scheduled Tribes will also be advised from this list, if no separate ranked list is available or a separate selection is under way exclusively for Scheduled Tribe for filling up of such vacancies. Only in the absence of Scheduled Tribes candidates in the said Ranked list a fresh notification exclusively for 'Scheduled Tribes' will be issued for such vacancies.

AGE LIMIT

20 - 36 Years Only. Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Degree in any discipline from a UGC recognized University or National Institute established by the Government of India or Institution established by the Government of Kerala or its equivalent qualification

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

For male candidates

Height : Must be not less than 160 cm.

Chest : 81 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm

For female candidates

Height : Must be not less than 155 cm.

PHYSICAL TEST

All the male candidates must qualify in any of the 5 (Five) events out of the 8 (Eight) events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard Test for men.

1. 100 Meters Run 14 Seconds

2. High Jump 132.2 cm

3. Long Jump 457.2 cm

4. Putting the Shot (7264 grams) 609.6 cm

5. Throwing the cricket ball 6096 cm

6. Rope Climbing(only with hands) 365.80 cm

7. Pull Ups or chinning 8 times

8. 1500 Meters Run 5 minutes 44 Seconds

All the Female candidates must qualify in any of the 5 (Five) events out of the 8 (Eight) events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard Test for women.

1. 100 Meters Run 17 Seconds

2. High Jump 106 cm

3. Long Jump 305 cm

4. Putting the Shot (4000 grams) 488 cm

5. 200 Meters Run 36 Seconds

6. Throwing the throw ball 1400 cm

7. Shuttle Race (4 X 25 m) 26 seconds

8 Skipping (One Minute) 80 times

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and Password. Candidates must refrain from creating multiple profiles, non compliance of which shall lead to forfeiture of their candidature. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion of the photograph uploaded. Candidates who create new profile should upload their photograph taken within six months. The uploaded photograph having all the required specifications shall be valid for 10 years from the date of taking of photographs. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of personal information and the secrecy of password. Prior to the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information incorporated in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisionally accepted and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference. Candidates can take the printout of the application by clicking on the link 'My applications' in their profile. All correspondences with the Commission, regarding the application should be accompanied with the print out of the application. The application will be summarily rejected if non-compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original documents to prove qualification, experience, age, community etc. have to be produced as and when called for
