PHYSICAL STANDARDS

For Male Candidates

Height : A minimum of 168 cm.

Chest : A minimum of 81 cm and with a minimum expansion of 5 cm.

Note: Minimum Height and chest measurement shall be 160 cm and 76 cm respectively for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities. The minimum chest expansion of 5 cm

For Female Candidates

Height: A minimum of 157 cm.

Note: Minimum Height measurement shall be 150 cm for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities

PHYSICAL TEST

Male Candidates

Physical Efficiency Test for Male Candidates Male Candidates must qualify any of the five events out of the eight specified below in the National Physical Efficiency Test of one star standard

1. 100 Metres Run 14 Seconds

2. High Jump 132.20 cm

3. Long Jump 457.20 cm

4. Putting the Shot (7264 gms) 609.60 cm

5. Throwing the Cricket Ball 6096 cm

6. Rope Climbing(only with hands) 365.80 cm

7. Pull ups or chinning 8 times

8. 1500 Metres Run 5 Minutes & 44 seconds

Female Candidates

Female Candidates should qualify in any five events out of the eight specified below in the National Physical Efficiency Test of One Star Standard.

1. 100 Metres Run 17 Seconds

2. High Jump 1.06 Metres

3. Long Jump 3.05 Metres

4. Putting the Shot (4 Kg) 4.88 Metres

5. 200 Metres Run 36 Seconds

6. Throwing the Throw ball 14 Metres

7. Shuttle Race (25 Metres x 4) 26 Seconds

8. Skipping (One minute) 80 Times

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and Password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. Those candidates who create new profile should upload their photograph taken within six months. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference. Candidates can take the printout of the application by clicking on the link 'My applications' in their profile. All correspondences with the Commission, regarding the application should be accompanied with the print out of the application. The application will be summarily rejected if non-compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original documents to prove qualification, experience, age, community etc. have to be produced as and when called for.
