AGE LIMIT

18- 27 years as on 17.08.2025

The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxable:

(a) up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe;

(b) up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates;

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education and,

Possession of domicile certificate of that State against which candidates has applied.

Knowledge of any one of the local language

Desirable : Field experience in intelligence work

SELECTION PRODEURE

Tier-I (Online Objective Test):

Total Marks: 100

Duration: 1 Hour

Subjects: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning & Analytical Ability, English Language, General Studies

Negative Marking: ¼ mark per wrong answer

Tier-II (Descriptive Test)

Translation of 500-word passage (Local Language ↔ English)

Total Marks: 50 (Qualifying: 20 marks)

Qualifying in nature

Tier-III (Interview/ Personality Test)

Only for those who clear both Tier-I and Tier-II
