SALARY

Pay Level - 10 Starting Basic Pay 56,100/-

VACANCY

General Duty (GD)  : 140 (UR - 46, OBC - 35, EWS - 10, SC - 25, ST - 24)

Tech (Engg/ Elect) : 30 (UR - 13, EWS - 02 OBC - 08, SC - 03, ST - 04)

AGE LIMIT

21-25 years as on 01 Jul 2026 i.e. born between 01 Jul 2001 & 30 Jun 2005 (Both dates inclusive). 

(05 Years relaxation for personnel serving in Coast Guard or equivalent personnel in Army/Navy/Air Force)

The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxable: 

(a) up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe; 

 (b) up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates;  

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

General Duty (GD)

(i) Should hold a degree of recognised university

(ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of
education or equivalent. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible,
provided they should possess a diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

Technical

(Mechanical)

(i) Should hold an Engineering degree of recognized university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace

OR 

Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE). 

(ii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of
education or equivalent. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible,
provided they should possess a diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

(Electrical/ Electronics)

(i) Should hold an Engineering degree of recognized university in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics

OR 

Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE). 

(ii)Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of
education or equivalent. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible,
provided they should possess a diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

(a) Height : 157 cms minimum. Reduction in minimum height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. regulations. 

(b) Weight. Proportionate to the Height and Age, + 10 % acceptable. 

(c) Chest. Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms.

APPLICATION FEE

All candidates (except SC/ST candidates, who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/Master/Maestro/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI. Admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee or who are entitled for waiver of examination fee.

Candidates from SC/ST category are entitled for waiver of examination fee. Candidates are liable to be discharged/ rejected at any stage of recruitment/ training if it is found that false SC/ST certificate has been produced to claim waiver of examination fee/other concessions as applicable
