Indian Army invites application from unmarried Indian male and
female candidates for Recruitment Trials of Outstanding sportsperson who have participated at
International/ Junior or Senior National Championship/ Khelo India Games/ Youth Games from
01 Apr 2022 to 31 Mar 2024 to join the Indian Army as Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar in the
following sports disciplines

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(a) Direct Entry Havildar
Age
The age limit for enrolment will be from 17 ½ to 25 years should have
completed 17 ½ on the first day of enrolment and must have not crossed 25 yrs
on the last day of enrolment.
Date of Birth Block. Candidates born between 01 Oct 1999 to
30 Sep 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification
Minimum educational qualification will be
matriculation.
Sports Achievements
The selection will be made from out of those
who have represented as under in any of the sports and games specified as above :-
(aa) Individual should be a Medalist at Junior/ Senior level by representing
State in National competitions or have represented Country at International level
(Indl event).
(ab) Individual should have represented a State or Country in National or
International competitions at Junior/ Senior level (Team event).
(ac) Individual should be a Medalist in Khelo India Games & Youth Games or
Above.
(b) Direct Entry Naib Subedar
Age
(i) The age limit for enrolment will be from 17 ½ to 25 years should have completed
17 ½ on the first day of enrolment and must have not crossed 25 yrs on the last day of
enrolment.
Date of Birth Block. Candidates born between 01 Oct 1999 to
30 Sep 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification
Minimum educational qualification will be

Sports Achievements
(aa) Individual should be winner of any medal in World Championship/
Asian Championships.
(ab) Individual should be winner of any medal in Asian Games.
(ac) Individual should be winner of any medal in CWG/World Cup.
(ad) Represented India twice in Asian Games/ Commonwealth
Games/World Cup.
(ae) Represented India in Olympics.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS
Male
Height : 166cm
Weight. Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standards.
Chest Expansion. The candidate should be capable of chest expansion of
05 cms
Female
Height. 162 Cms
Weight. Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standards.
Chest Expansion. The candidate should be capable of chest expansion of 05 Cms.

9 Feet Ditch Need to Qualify
Zig - Zag Balance

Female
1.6 Km Run in 8 Min
