AGE LIMIT
21-27 Years (as on 01 October 2025). Candidate born between 01 October 1998 to 01 October 2004 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
(i) 10+2
of Board
or equivalent from any Education Board recognised by of School Education in India. Candidates should have working knowledge of either English or Hindi or both.
(ii) Diploma/ Certificate Course of a duration of one year or more in Cookery/Hotel
recognised Management and Catering Technology from a University/Food Craft Institute. Course recognized by thefoiiowing Govt Agencies wili be considered for eligibility for recruitmentof JCO (Catering):-
(aa) Catering courses run by institutes which are recognisedby universities under the aegis of Association of IndianUniversities.
(ab) Catering courses run by the institutes which are recognised by Central AICTE or the AICTE, Regional Offices.
(ac) Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) / Food Craft Institutes (FCIs) under control of Human Resources Development.
(ad) Hotel Management / Catering courses from Institutions which have been recognised by the respective States.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
For Recruiting
Year 2025-26, the recruitment of Junior Commission Officer (Catering) will be carried out in following phases:-
(a) Part I Eligibility Criteria, Physical and Medical Standards.
(b) Part II Registration of candidates through Join Indian Army Portal.
(c) Part III Online Common Entrance Examination.
(d) Part IV Recruitment Rally (Physical Fitness Test/Physical Measurement Test/ Medical Examination).
(e) Part V Interview and Skill Test.
(f) Part VI Final Merit and Call up for Training.
(g) Part VII Important Instruction of Candidates.
