AGE LIMIT

25– 36, Only candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post.

Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation as provided in the rule 10 (c) of part II of Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules 1958.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

(a) SSLC or its equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala.

(b) All candidates must have a valid Motor Driving license issued by a competent authority to drive motor boat and must have experience for not less than three years as Boat Driver.

(d) All candidates must be able to swim

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

Height : Minimum 168 cms

Chest (Normal) : Minimum 81 cms

Chest expansion : Minimum 5 cms

Note: - 1) Minimum height measurement of SC/ST candidates shall be 160 cm. But no relaxation in chest expansion of 5 cm shall be allowed for SC/ST candidates.

PHYSICAL TEST

All the candidates must qualify in any of the Five events out of the Eight, specified for men in the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test

1. 100 Meters Run 14 Seconds

2. High Jump 132.2 cm

3. Long Jump 457.2 cm

4. Putting the Shot (7264 grams) 609.6 cm

5. Throwing the cricket ball 6096 cm

6. Rope Climbing(only with hands) 365.8 cm

7. Pull Ups or chinning 8 times

8. 1500 Meter Run 5 minutes 44 Seconds

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and Password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The Photograph uploaded should be taken after 31.12.2013. Those candidates who create new profile 01.01.2022 onwards should upload their photograph taken within six months. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference. Candidates can take the printout of the application by clicking on the link 'My applications' in their profile. All correspondences with the Commission, regarding the application should be accompanied with the print out of the application. The application will be summarily rejected if non-compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Original documents to prove qualification, experience, age, community etc. have to be produced as and when called for.
