EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Pass in Plus Two or its equivalent.

Preferential : Diploma in Computer Application

Must have proficiency in swimming.

Note: The proficiency in swimming will be tested by a practical test conducted by the Commission. The following are the criteria for the swimming test.

(i) 50 m swimming trial to be completed within two minutes.

(ii) Two minutes floating ability at the deeper side of the swimming pool. Candidate must qualify both the events to be considered as qualified in the swimming test.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

(i) Height (bare foot) 165 cms

(ii) Weight 50 Kgs

(iii) Chest 81 cms

(iv) Chest Expansion 5 cms

FOR SC/ST CANDIDATES

(i) Height (bare foot) 160 cms

(ii) Weight 48 Kgs

(iii) Chest 76 cms

(iv) Chest Expansion 5 cms

PHYSICAL TEST

Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the physical efficiency test of National One Star standard showing the minimum standards of efficiency as noted below.

1 100 Metres Run 14 Seconds

2 High Jump 132.20 cm

3 Long Jump 457.20 cm

4 Putting the Shot (7264 gms) 609.60 CM

5 Throwing the Cricket Ball 6096 cm

6 Rope Climbing (only with hands) 365.80 cm

7 Pull ups or chinning 8 times

8 1500 Metres Run 5 Minutes & 44 seconds

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates shall register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' system on the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' for applying for the post. Candidates who have registered shall apply by logging on to their profile using their User- ID and password. Candidates shall click on the 'Apply Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification link for applying for a post. The photograph uploaded in the profile of the candidate who have already registered should be taken after 31.12.2013. Candidates who are creating profile from 01/01/2023 onwards must upload photograph which is taken within six months. Name of the candidate and date of photograph taken should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before applying for a post, candidates must ensure correctness of the information in their profile. They must quote the User- ID for further communication with the Commission. Applications once submitted will be received as provisional and particulars cannot be deleted or altered after submission. Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the online application for future reference.
