AGE LIMIT
Age limit for above mentioned post(s) is 21-30 years as on the last date of
receipt of the online application. Candidate should note that only the date of birth as
recorded in the Birth Certificate/ Matriculation Certificate or equivalent valid certificate
issued prior to the date of submission of application will be accepted by the Ferozepur
Cantonment Board and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or
granted.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
10+2 pass from a recognized Board/
Institution, able bodied persons who are
fit to undergo rigorous duties of fire and
emergency services.
Note-
(i) Candidate should have passed subject of Punjabi at Matric Level standard. If the
candidate has not passed, (s)he will be given one year time to pass the subject.
(ii) Candidate must fulfil the minimum qualification. Candidates possessing the higher
qualification can also apply for the said post(s), however, (s)he shall not be given any
weightage for the same. Candidates are thus advised to satisfy themselves before
applying that they fulfil minimum qualification criteria. No enquiry asking for advice as
to eligibility will be entertained.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS
Height- 5 feet and 7 inches
Chest- Minimum unexpanded 33 ½ inches, maximum after expansion 35 ½
inches (Only this criteria, i.e. point b., is exempted for women candidates)
Sight- 6/6 both eyes without glasses
Should not have color blindness and night blindness
PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST
a. Running a distance of 100 yards with a weight of 60Kg. in one minute
b. High Jump 4 feet, Long Jump 12 feet
c. Climbing a rope to a height of 8 feet from shoulder level of the candidate
without the support of feet/legs.
