AGE LIMIT

Head Constable : 18 to 27 years as on 01.07.2025 (i.e. candidates born not before 02-07-1998 and not later than 01-07-2007 are eligible to apply)

Constable : 21-30 years as on 01-07-2025. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1995 and not later than 01-07-2004.

The upper age-limit prescribed above will be relaxable: 

(a) up to a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe; 

 (b) up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates;  

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Head Constable

(i) Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board with Science & Mathematics as subjects. 

OR 

National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronic Communication System. 

(ii) Professional Attainments: 

• Proficiency in Computer Operation (Qualifying in Nature). 

• Test of English word processing speed-1000 key depressions in 15 minutes. (Test of English word processing will be conducted in ‘English’ language only as per functional requirement). 

• Test of Basic Computer Functions: - Opening/Closing of PC, printing, MS office usage, saving & modification in typed text, paragraph setting & numbering, etc. 

Constable

a) 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed or equivalent from a recognized Board. 

b) Should be able to drive heavy vehicles with confidence. 

c) Valid driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles (as on closing date of receipt of Online Application Form). 

d) Possess knowledge of maintenance of vehicles


PHYSICAL STANDARDS

Standard of Physical Measurement for Male candidates

Height: Minimum 170 cm, relaxable by 5 cm for ST candidates.

Chest: 81 cm with minimum of 4 cm expansion (i.e. 81 - 85 cm), relaxable by 5 cm for ST candidates.

Standard of Physical Measurement for Female candidates

Height: Minimum 157 cm, relaxable by 2 cm for SC/ ST candidates.


PHYSICAL TEST

Physical Endurance Test for Male candidates

Race: 1600 metre Complete in 07 minutes

Long jump : 12½ feet

High Jump : 3½ feet

Physical Endurance Test for Female candidates

Race-800 Meters Complete in 5 Minutes

Long jump : 9 Feet

High Jump : 3 Feet

APPLICATION FEE

Fee payable: ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).

Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.

Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards.
