 Pay Matrix Level- 7 (Rs. 44900 – 142400/-) as per 7th CPC.

AGE LIMIT

Male and female candidates Not exceeding 30 years. (Relaxable for Govemment servants upto five years in accordance with the instructions or order issued by the Central Government).

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Bachelor Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute.

Experience

Two years professional experience in a library under the Central Govemment or State Government or autonomous or statutory organization or public sector undertaking or university or recognized research educational institution.

Desirable

  • Master Degree in Library Science or library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute.
  • Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University

Women Candidates and Candidates Belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF Serving Personnel are exempted from payment of examination fee.
