SALARY

Group ‘C’ HC (Plumber & Carpenter) : Pay Matrix Level- 4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100)

Constable (General Operator/ Generator Mechanic & Lineman) : Pay Matrix Level- 3 (Rs. 21,700 – 69,100/-).

HC (Carpenter) : 01 (UR)

Constable (Generator Operator) : 13 (UR- 08, EWS- 03, SC- 01, ST- 01)

Constable (Generator Mechanic) : 14 (UR- 05, EWS- 02, OBC- 03, SC- 02, ST- 02)

Constable ( Lineman) : 09 (UR- 04, EWS- 01, OBC- 03, SC- 01)

AGE LIMIT

Between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date of receipt of online applications. 

Age relaxation permissible beyond the upper age limit SC / ST Candidates have 05 Years & OBC Candidates have 03 Years

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

HC (Plumber)

Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Plumber or three years' experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.

HC (Carpenter)

Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter or three years' experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.

Constable (Generator Operator)

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade (i.e. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel /Motor Mechanic) from a recognized institute and three years' experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

Constable (Generator Mechanic)

Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel/Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute and three years' experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

Constable (Lineman)

Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate from a recognized institute in the trade of Electrical Wireman or Lineman and three years' experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

Height

Male : 165 Cms.

Female : 157 Cms.

Chest

Male : 76 Cms. (Un-expanded) 81 Cms. (Expanded)

(Relaxable by 2 cms for candidate below 20 years of age)

Female : Not applicable.

Weight

Male : Proportionate to height and age as per Medical Standards

Female  : According to height  but not less than 46 Kgs.

HOW TO APPLY

The application by the candidates must be submitted through ONLINE mode only. No other mode for submission of application will be accepted. The facility for submission of online application will be opened on BSF website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in w.e.f 17/03/2024 at 00:01 AM and will be closed on 15/04/2024 at 23:59 PM

APPLICATION FEE

Candidates to pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as examination fee

Female candidates of all categories and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF serving personnel and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examinationfee.

Payment of examination will be accepted only through Online mode

Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
