AGE LIMIT

The minimum age is set at 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per government norms.

Age relaxation permissible beyond the upper age limit SC / ST Candidates have 05 Years & OBC Candidates have 03 Years

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

MSW Cook

  • Matriculation from a recognized Board
  • Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by BRO
  • Should qualify physical tests as per BRO guidelines
  • Should meet physical and medical standards as per BRO guidelines

MSW Mason

  • Matriculation from a recognized Board
  • Possessing certificate of Building construction/Bricks Mason from Industrial Training Institute/Industrial Trade Certificate/National Council for training in the vocational Trades/State Council for Vocational Training OR ( Passed certificate Class II for Mason as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, ( Qualification regulations, for Soldiers) from office of Records/ Centres or similar establishment of defence)
  • Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be       conducted by BRO
  • Should qualify physical tests as per BRO guidelines
  • Should meet physical and medical standards as per BRO guidelines

MSW Blacksmith

  • Matriculation from a recognized Board
  • Possessing certificate of Blacksmith or forge technology or heat transfer technology or Sheet Metal worker certificate from ITI/ Industrial Trade Certificate/National Council for training in the vocational Trades/State Council for training in the vocational Training OR (Passed two courses for Blacksmith as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or Similar establishment of defence.)
  • Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by BRO
  • Should qualify physical tests as per BRO guidelines
  • Should meet physical and medical standards as per BRO guidelines

MSW Mess Waiter

  • Matriculation from a recognized Board
  • Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be  conducted by BRO
  • Should qualify physical tests as per BRO guidelines
  • Should meet physical and medical standards as per BRO guidelines..
