AGE LIMIT

For RT JCQ

Candidates 25-34 Yrs (as on 01 Oct 2023). Candidate born between 01 Oct 1998 to 01 Oct 1989 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

For Hav (SAC)

The age bracket in respect of civilian candidates would not be below 20 years of age and not above 25 years of age on 01 Oct 2023 (i.e candidates born between 01 Oct 1998 to 01 Oct 2003 inclusive of both dates).


AGE RELAXATION: A ONETIME AGE RELAXATION OF TWO YEARS FOR CANDIDATES APPLYING FOR SEPOY PHARMA AND HAVILDAR (SURVEYOR AUTO CARTOGRAPHER) HAS BEEN GRANTED FOR RECRUITING YEAR 2023-24. THE AGE FOR APPLYING FOR SEPOY PHARMA CATEGORY HAS BEEN INCREASED FROM EXISTING 19-25 YEARS TO 19-27 YEARS AND HAVILDAR (SURVEYOR AUTO CARTOGRAPHER) CATEGORY HAS BEEN INCREASED FROM EXISTING 20-25 YEARS TO 20 -27 YEARS

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

For Hav (SAC)

BA/B.Sc with Mathematics and should have passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects (min 50% marks in each of them) 

OR

Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) degree in Civil / Electronic /Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical / Computer Technology / Computer Science from any recognized university and should have passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects (min 50% marks in each of them).

For RT JCQ

1- RT Pandit and Pandit (Gorkha) for Gorkha Regiment- Hindu Candidate with Shastri Acharya in Sanskrit from UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have under mentioned religious qualification:-

‘Karam Kand’ as one of the main/ core subject Shastri/ Acharya. during

OR One year Diploma in ‘Karam Kand”.

2- RT Granthi- Sikh Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have degree of “Gyani” in Punjabi.

3- RT Maulvi (Shla) for LADAKH SCOUTS only and RT Maulvi- Muslim Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have Alim in Arabic or Adeeb-e-Mahir/ Urdu Mahir in Urdu.

4- RT Padre- Christian Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, individual should have been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and be on the approved list of the local Bishop.

5- RT Budhist- Budhist Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, Individual should have been ordained as Monk/Budhist Priest by an Appropriate Authority. The term ‘Appropriate Authority’ will mean Head Priest of the Monastery where the person has been initiated into priesthood. The Head Priest should be in possession of Geshe (Ph.D) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rajbam with proper certificate from Monastery.

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE

For Recruiting Year 2023-24, the recruitment  will be carried out in two & three phases: - 

(a) Phase I - Online Computer Based Written Examination (Online CEE) 

(b) Phase II - Recruitment Rally. 

(c) Phase III - Interview (Only for RT)

For Hav (SAC)

APPLICATION FEE

Examination fee of Rs 250/- per applicant is to be paid by the candidate for the online examination. The candidate on successfully filling the application will be directed to SBI portal through a link on the website. At the SBI portal make payment of Rs 250/- plus Bank charges as applicable. The payment can be made through any of these payment options available:- 

(i) Payment Gateway Facility through Maestro, Master Card, VISA, Rupay Cards both Credit & Debit of all major banks. 

(ii) Internet banking of SBI and other banks. 

(iii) UPI (Bhim) 

(d) Duplicate/Incomplete/Erroneously filled application will be rejected. 

(e) Candidates are required to have an active email & mobile number which will be used for further communication. 

(f) Candidates should apply only once in response to this notification. 

(g) Candidates must indicate five choices of the exam centre. All possible efforts would be taken to allot exam centre based on first three choices. 

(h) Request for change of exam centre or date of selection test will not be entertained. 

(j) Candidates not reporting for the test on due date & time will not be accommodated on other dates. 

(k) Candidate should enter AADHAR number in online application. 

(l) For online registration & online application, assistance will also be provided to candidates at Army Recruiting Office, Trivandrum on working days from 1000 Hours to 1400 hours.
