The Union Public Service Commission will Conduct the recruitment For Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force(CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Physical Standards
The minimum requirements for the candidate are as follows:
Male
Height 165 cm
Chest 81 cm (with 5 cm minimum expansion)
Weight 50 kg.
Female
Height 157 cm
Chest (Not applicable)
Weight 46 kg.
Age Limit
The Candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August, 2021,
i.e. He/She must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1996 and not later than 1st August, 2001.
Age Relaxation
Age Relaxation for OBC Candidates :- 3 Years
Age Relaxation for SC/ST Candidates :- 5 Years
Qualification
A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University, incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

The centres and the date of holding the examination as mentioned above are liable to be changed at the discretion of the Commission. Applicants should note that there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the Centres, except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur. Allotment of Centres will be on the “first-apply-first allot” basis, and once the capacity of a particular Centre is attained, the same will be frozen. Applicants, who cannot get a Centre of their Choice due to ceiling, will be required to choose a Centre from the remaining ones. Applicants are, thus, advised that they may apply early so that they may apply early so that they could get a Centre of their choice.
